Ron Klabunde :: Lead Pastor ::
Some of my friends call me the extreme pastor. This grows out of my passion for rock climbing, back country skiing, mountain biking, and trail running. The pleasure I find in these activities comes by experiencing them with my wife, kids, and friends.
For me, Restore is a 10 year dream in the making – the dream of seeing the church leave the building to actively share God’s extravagant love in practical ways. I love what God is doing through the people of Restore and am thrilled to be part of the story.
Mark and Amy Ferrara :: Worship Pastors ::
There’s no place we would rather be than on holy ground, praising God through song and lyrics. Music touches the deep and sometimes difficult-to-describe emotions of the heart, which is why God calls His people to use music in communication with Him. It is common to see us singing and playing guitar through our tears on Sunday mornings!
Worship music has been a core tenet of both our individual and married lives. It is a foundation and calling for our growing family, and we're thrilled that our family extends to the Restore faith community.
Candice Spaulding :: Children's Minister ::
Candice has been working in children's ministries for almost fifteen years and enjoys serving the families at Restore. She and her husband Andrew have been at Restore since the first Sunday because they support its practical focus to apply biblical principles to everyday life—even busy Northern Virginia life. They are very passionate about Restore's mission to build the community rather than a building. She just (finally!) completed her Master's Degree and had their first child, Angela. They enjoy watching football and basketball together, arguing about politics, and traveling to new places.
Jack Grace :: Missional Pastor ::
Jack and his wife Debbie had been praying for a new church in Northern Virginia for years and are thrilled that Restore is the answer to their prayers! Jack has experience as an Associate Pastor of a church in Northern Virginia and now works full time in mortgage banking. His passion is seeing Restore reach it’s full potential as a community that introduces people to God’s message of love and forgiveness in Jesus. Jack and Debbie are the parents of four fantastic children who are also loving Restore’s kids ministry. Jack prays and dreams of a day when more churches in America catch of vision for expressing God’s extravagant love through practical and tangible service.
Bruce Lang :: Missional Pastor ::
Bruce and his wife Cindy moved to the Northern Va area 10 years ago after spending a couple of years in Amsterdam. They have been married for over 26 years and have four kids. Bruce works for an international consulting firm and spends his free time coaching (especially soccer) and looking for a good tennis match. Bruce and Cindy are passionate about community and the impact it can have on those who experience God's love through relationships that are transformational and grace-imbued (and Bruce believes that food should always be a part of that!)
